Over the past years, Citrea Discord has been more than just a server. It has been a place where early supporters, builders, contributors, Bappers, OGs, Champions, and curious Bitcoin believers gathered around one shared idea: bringing Bitcoin into its next era. 🧡
As Citrea moves into its next phase with CTR and Bitcoin capital markets at scale, our community structure is also evolving. To ensure long-term stability and security of our support system, we are moving into a web-based support system on citrea.xyz to provide a safer experience. Effective on July 3, 2026, the Citrea Discord will become read-only until it’s completely shut down.
Moving forward, our community discussions will become more focused. The community chats will revolve around governance in a smaller Telegram chat for xCTR holders, with a stronger focus on ecosystem direction, and long-term alignment. We have already invited several community members to this group and will soon publish an official method to verify and onboard more xCTR holders. For our broader community and curious newcomers, we will continue to share major updates, ecosystem news, and public discussions over on our official X account.
Citrea is now about staying involved, participating in governance, and helping shape the Bitcoin economy. To everyone who showed up, contributed, played games, helped others, created content, tested products, asked questions, supported Citrea on X, or simply stayed through the quiet and loud moments - thank you.
The Discord chapter is closing, but the Citrea community is not disappearing. It is becoming more focused. The future of Citrea will be shaped by those who vote, build, and govern the Bitcoin economy.
