Compute is at the heart of Ambient, but contributing compute to a decentralized network raises an important question:
What should useful AI work actually be worth?
As small-model mining moves closer to launch readiness, this week focuses on the systems surrounding it: verification, rewards, slashing protections, miner onboarding, and the experience of contributing hardware to the network.
We want to explore what makes mining fair, reliable, and economically predictable for operators.
